I was craving something sweet, and natural today. No matter how good the baked goods are with swerve, sometimes I am craving sweet juicy fruit. At about .9 g total carbs per medium berry, and .2 g dietary fiber, that puts a medium strawberry at about .7 g net carbs.
I ate 5 for a 3.5 net carb snack and it was delicious!
There are studies that show strawberries may help prevent fat formation, moderate your insulin levels and boy aren’t they delicious?
Don’t overdo it though, it would be easy to rack up some carbs here! Make sure they fit in your macros before you indulge.
(one more great way to enjoy them would be to create a strawberry glaze topping for the tiny keto cake.. hmmm
